To support Sri Lanka’s goal of increasing green cover, Nations Trust Bank launched the “Let’s Get Growing” initiative encouraging employees and their families to start home gardens by planting native trees, herbs, and fruits. The response was overwhelming: over 2,700 staff members collected saplings, with more than 770 joining a dedicated Facebook group to share planting tips, progress updates, and success stories.
What started as a green initiative has grown into something more a movement that promotes environmental sustainability while also supporting personal well‑being and community spirit.
